I made apple syrup to take to all our neighbors at Christmas.... The apple syrup is amazing and perfect to have on hand with all your holiday guests!
2 C apple juice
1 C sugar
1/4 C margarine
2 T lemon juice
2 T cornstarch
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Mix cornstarch and spice into cold apple syrup, stirring rapidly with whisk. Add remaining ingredients and heat until thickened (bring to a boil and stir occasionally for 1-2 min)
